When business owners get paid
The owner's payout happens later in the process than the worker's. It's recorded when the host company marks the referred job as Paid, once the job has actually been completed and the customer has paid for it. That can be weeks or months after the referral was accepted.
The amount is usually based on the value of the completed job, and the host company enters it when they mark the job paid.
Owners choose how they want to be paid: a check the company mails, or a digital reward sent through the app (a gift card, or cash to PayPal, Venmo, or a bank account).
